Starting in 2014 a group of local Veterans, and the mother of a young son, that had recently joined the Army and been selected for his first deployment made a decision to serve other local veterans for all of their sacrifices and commitment. Initially just donating money to other local Veteran's organizations, in 2018 we decided we would attempt to find a trainer and provide service dogs directly to local veterans that were waiting for assistance. Partnering with Certified Canine Services, Inc. of Pulaski, and Helping Hounds of Dewitt we now have been serving local Veteran's for the last decade, and we could not be more proud to "Serve those that Served us"!
There are many volunteer opportunities available to directly support our mission, and we often partner with other organizations within our local network. Feel free to reach out by selecting "Learn more" below or "Get involved", and "Volunteer" above. Some opportunities are available for Soliciting Corporate Sponsorships, Volunteering at Events, Soliciting Donations for Raffle Baskets before events, Selling Raffle Tickets at Events, Setting up/Breaking down at events, Volunteering with the Dog Training Program, Grant Writing, or Budgeting etc.
Selling merchandise directly supports our service dog program, and raises awareness of our mission. It is the core approach to our "Word-of mouth" marketing strategy. Any support will be greatly appreciated, and we have our current run of merchandise, such as Mens's and Women's short and long sleeve T-Shirts, Hooded Sweatshirts, and Koozies available on our website for direct orders. At our events we will often have limited merchandise of other designs available for purchase as well. Feel free to stop out to any of our local events as we always have creative ways to support!
"The experience working with Victory For Vets was amazing for me and my family! I was on a wait list for a very long time through another organization and from the time I reached out to Heather to the time I met with Neil, Rachel and Brad at Certified Canine Services was a short 4 weeks. 3 weeks after that I began our at home training with Sinbad. I was so grateful for the almost year that I was able to be a small part of the organization as the Director of Veteran's Outreach. It was such an honor to give back to the organization that gave to me and my family."

"My life has not been the same since Stanley came into my life. Before I was lost, trying to figure out how to move forward while still holding onto the past. Now, every day is a different adventure and a step in the right direction. Stanley brings inspiration and motivation to my life, he never wants to be home, and he is always making new friends. "

"In 2019 I received Feather from Victory for Vets Inc. for my PTSD. She has helped me through some very dark days. Without her I am not sure how I would go on day-to-day. Having her over the last 5 years has brought sunshine on those very dark days. She is my guardian and protector. Feather has helped me make several trips back and forth from New York to Florida."
