OUR MISSION AND WHERE IT ALL STARTED

The idea for Victory for Vets began as an idea to host a summer BBQ as a way to thank customers and staff of IBN Financial in Liverpool, NY. Rick Carlesco, CEO, wanted to have the event be a way to raise money for a local non-profit group, while at the same time, thanking those that helped make his business successful.

We began working with B104.7, local bands, Sharkey’s of Liverpool, volunteers and local businesses – and the first annual Victory for Vets Music Fest was born!! From the beginning, our plan was that this would not be a one-time event, but a yearly day long music festival that will get bigger and more successful every year.

Our first year was a HUGE success, raising $16,000 for Clear Path for Veterans. We had a great response from local
businesses and individuals who sponsored the event and donated items to raffle off during the event, an amazing
group of volunteers, and a fabulous turnout by the community that day.

In 2015, we went through the process of becoming incorporated and officially formed Victory For Vets, Inc. It is our
goal to continue to grow and serve our local Veterans with our annual music event, along with fundraising events
throughout the year! In our first 4 years, Victory For Vets Inc. has raised $60,000 which has been donated to help provide service dogs and training for Veterans with Post Traumatic Stress.
